As a cancer survivor, lymphedema therapist and patient educator for over twenty years, JoAnn's entrepreneurial spirit has been fueled by her passion to find better answers for patients struggling with lymphedema. As the first lymphedema therapist in the Northwest, she opened her clinic in Seattle, WA in 1993. She is currently our technical advisor and ongoing inspiration for all of us who work for her and to the many therapists and patients who seek out her advice.

Marilyn's dedication and commitment to excellence and accuracy have been an integral part of JoViPak's success over the last nine years. Her position as corporate accountant often looks more like that of an office manager; she is the one who keeps everything held together and running smoothly. Her laughter is contagious -- although accounting is serious business, Marilyn has a wonderful sense of humor.

Sue's degree in Chemistry was her entry into the field of medical technology; but her first love, since she was five years old, has been sewing. Ten years ago she left the world of medical laboratories and headed in a totally new direction: developing skills in computerized pattern-making using the PAD software system. This also included a teaching position as a patternmaker for the International School of Design.

After growing up with a mother who battled with cancer and lymphedema, Karen developed a great amount of empathy for cancer patients. She has always been in customer service but is thrilled to have found a place where her efforts and understanding of lymphedema compliment JoViPak's goal of providing quality products and service to the lymphedema community.

Dee Dee's gentle nature makes it very clear to everyone she meets that she is sincere and genuinely interested in addressing their needs and concerns. Dee Dee was on our customer service desk for three years and understands the importance of ongoing customer contact and follow-up. Carol Johnson, OTR/L, CLT-LANA is an Occupational Therapist with 32 years experience and 9 years lymphedema experience. She is also a medical seamstress and a certified garment fitter. She is very excited about this new challenge working at JoViPak which will expand her opportunities in serving the lymphedema community. With the combined efforts of Carol and JoAnn and their many years of expertise in the lymphedema field, we anticipate exciting new concepts within our JoViPak product lines.

 Nadia, Production Manager
Nadia has been with JoViPak for 9 years. She is a perfectionist and her attention to detail is unparalleled. After graduation from technical college, her career as a professional seamstress began in a Kazakhstan factory, making coats and sheepskin clothing. Nadia and her two sons came to America in 1995 and she received her American citizenship in 2001.

Nora is a gal with many talents including sewing skills as a quilter. For now, she will be handling all of the shipping both nationally and internationally. As she becomes familiar with our newly expanded inventory and customer service, you will no doubt be hearing from her from time to time.
